PRE-CONSTRUCTION DESIGN AND FEASIBILITY
During the pre-construction and design phase Locaters can undertake utility surveying and drafting, and provide consultation on the best way to manage the underground services.

Locaters generate service plans for construction in preparation for civil works, road redesign, rehabilitation and service realignments. They also deliver detailed site surveys to major infrastructure organisations to enable their designers to navigate the often-complex network of underground services.

By incorporating utility management into the design and scoping phase, you can develop more meaningful budgets and avoid future delays and costly rework.

DURING CONSTRUCTION - Locating, Surveying, Drafting, Coordination

Locaters employ the most up-to-date electronic equipment for locating underground pipes and cables including electrical fault-finding equipment, CCTV push cameras, tracing lines, ground penetrating radar and other specialised tools.

Locaters has established good relationships within the various service providers including telecommunication, power and utility companies, giving them ready access to public and private utility plans and specific assistance.

High productivity, peak performance surveying with robotic total stationLocaters use high productivity, peak performance surveying and drafting equipment, such as the Robotic Total Station, in conjunction with specialised software to produce high quality drawings on real coordinates.

When complementary or alternative services are required to complete a locating and surveying project. Locaters can coordinate the necessary service providers such as specialists in ground-penetrating radar, vacuum excavation, slab x-ray, leak detection and thermal imaging.

POST-CONSTRUCTION

Following the initial construction phase, maintenance and/or rework, Locaters can provide as-built drawings to ensure the assets are protected into the future of the site.
